| SEMPSL Policies |
Fines:
- Not having a representative at a SEMPSL meeting: $50.
- Using a player that is not registered for your team: $50 and forfeit of that game.
- Not showing up for a game and paying the refs: $90 ($45 for both teams ref fees).
- All fines must be paid in full before the team's next game or you will forfeit that game.
Forfeits:
- If a team has less than 7 players 20 minutes after time that the game is scheduled, the team will forfeit.
- If the team also fails to pay the refs, the team will be fined $90 ($45 for both teams ref fees).
Home team responsibilities:
- Supplying corner flags for the game.
- Supplying a game ball.
- Having an alternate color jersey to wear in case of a conflict.
- Ensure that the goal nets are fixed.
Petitions:
- If you petition the league to investigate a team for use of unofficial players, the request must be made in writing (or email) to Dean (DBowerbank@ci.ann-arbor.mi.us) and Wes (wdenlinger@comcast.net) within 24 hours of the game in question.
- Petitions about a referee's decision will not be considered.
Playing for 2 teams:
- The teams must be in two different divisions.
- The player must be registered for both teams (i.e. both teams have a pass card).
- The player's violations are cumulative for both teams. If the player is suspended, it falls on the next game, regardless of which team it is for, regardless if it is the same day. For example, if the card(s) were given in team A's games, but his next game is with team B, he sits out team B's game. If the player under suspension plays for team B, team B forfeits the game.
Rescheduling games:
- Both teams must agree to reschedule.
- The refs need at least 48 hours notice (the longer the better) before the original game is cancelled. Unless you pay the refs for both the cancelled game and the make-up game.
- At least 48 hour notice is needed prior to the make-up game to schedule refs.
- If a game is called off because of weather and less than 20 mins of the game have been played, the game will be rescheduled, and any goals or cards are nullified. If more than 20 mins. have been played, the game will not be rescheduled, and the current score is final.
